26/05603/TR - Tree Works Current

Proposal

T1 Hawthorn: Reduce overhanging growth above driveway/bin store by removing 12 stems back to suitable growth points. T2 Hawthorn (dead): Remove dead hawthorn heavily covered in ivy and overhanging neighbouring driveway. Tree is dead and presents a risk of branch/stem failure above an area regularly used for vehicle parking. T3 Holly: Crown lift by removing low, pendulous/whippy growth and selected lower stems, to improve clearance and reduce suppression of the yew growing beneath. T4 Holly: Prune lower crown, including removal of upright growth arising from one lower limb and minor whippy growth, to produce a more balanced crown shape. T5 Oak: Selective reduction/pruning of lower lateral growth extending across the garden. Remove one larger lateral stem extending across the planter and two further laterals extending towards the centre of the garden. T6 Dead hawthorn: Remove ivy where necessary to access the tree and remove dead stems extending/leaning into the client?s garden. Retain unaffected neighbouring live growth. T7 - Privet: Remove single large stem arising from rear boundary hedge back to approximately the established hedge line, consistent with previous management of surrounding growth. T8 -Hawthorn and holly: Reduce growth extending from boundary hedge back to approximately the established hedge line. T9 - Multi-stem hawthorn: Reduce lateral growth extending from hedge line and over footpath, reshaping to provide pedestrian clearance along the length of the garden path. T10 - Holly: Reduce selected lateral growth extending from hedge line to improve pedestrian clearance and maintain the tree approximately in line with the boundary hedge. T11 - Sycamore: Crown lift/selectively prune lower crown by removing four lower lateral stems extending across the garden towards the adjacent birch. T12 - Sycamore - Remove one subsiduary limb/stem. Checked on 6 October 2026. The pin for this application is the centre of its postcode rather than the building, so distances to nearby designations are measured from the postcode and can be out by the width of the postcode area. Historic England, the Environment Agency, Natural England, the Mining Remediation Authority, the Planning Inspectorate, the British Geological Survey and UK Health Security Agency (radon, contains BGS materials © UKRI) and council datasets, Open Government Licence. A boundary can run through a site and the council holds the definitive record: confirm with the council before relying on this.
