2026/2800 - Works to a T.P.O. Tree NEW

Proposal

T2 Ash Proposed works: Reduce the crown by approximately 2???3 metres in height and lateral spread, pruning back to suitable growth points while retaining a balanced and natural crown form. Selectively thin internal growth to improve light penetration into the property and remove major deadwood. Justification: The proposed works form part of routine cyclical tree management. The tree has developed an extensive crown which is reducing light to the property. The reduction and selective thinning will control the overall size of the tree, improve light penetration and airflow, reduce end weight on extended branches and remove defective deadwood, while retaining the tree???s health, form and amenity value. T1??? Eucalyptus Proposed works: Reduce the crown by approximately 2 metres in height and lateral spread, pruning back to suitable growth points while retaining a balanced crown form. Selectively thin internal growth and remove major deadwood together with any crossing or rubbing branches. Justification: The proposed works form part of routine cyclical tree maintenance. Eucalyptus can produce vigorous and rapidly extending growth, and the proposed reduction will maintain the tree at an appropriate size for its location. Selective thinning will improve light penetration and airflow through the crown, while removing deadwood and crossing or rubbing branches will improve crown structure and reduce the likelihood of branch failure. The works will retain the tree???s long term health and amenity value in accordance with BS 3998:2010 ??? Tree Work Recommendations. Data via plota.co.uk
