The reduction is to be carried out sympathetically and selectively throughout the crown , pruning back to suitable growth points and secondary branches whilst maintaining the tree’s natural shape, balanced structure and characteristic form. The reduction is to be graduated throughout the crown, avoiding an artificially rounded or heavily reduced appearance.
