PA/2026/0749 - Consent under Tree Preservation Orders Under Consultation

Proposal

TPO 530 We propose to safely dismantle and remove three dead trees situated within the watercourse at the rear of the property. The trees in question include two dead oak trees and one dead ash tree. Many surrounding trees appear to be suffering from adverse ground conditions and high water levels, exacerbated by competition among themselves. The dead trees exhibit clear signs of decay and rotting, with branches shedding and falling into the neighboring property. The neighbor has expressed concerns regarding the potential for these trees to fall and damage their home, as well as worries about safety while they are in their garden. Data via plota.co.uk

2 listed buildings within 150 m of the postcode pin
Nearest: Church of St Mark, Grade II, about 44 m from the postcode pin · 2 Grade II
The site itself is not listed. Listed building consent is needed for work that affects the special interest of a listed building, inside or out, on top of planning permission. Setting can be a consideration for buildings nearby; there is no fixed radius.

Not affected
Outside flood zones 2 and 3 · Not green belt · No scheduled monument at the site

Checked on 6 October 2026. The pin for this application is the centre of its postcode rather than the building, so distances to nearby designations are measured from the postcode and can be out by the width of the postcode area. Historic England, the Environment Agency, Natural England and council datasets, Open Government Licence. A boundary can run through a site and the council holds the definitive record: confirm with the council before relying on this.
