REAR: THREE Sycamore (G001) (T3,T4,T5 - see ref )(approx.ht.10m) FELL. Reason: The trees are self-set; growing in poor form in close proximity of a boundary wall. The trees have started to damage the wall & need to be removed for the repairs to take place & to abate possible future damage to the wall. Informative A: the three trees T3,T4,T5 are shown to be removed in approved dwg no.200A ref - planning consent for a double garage/workshop building. Informative B: please create habitat log piles with arisings for wildlife and biodiversity. Informative C: condition 6 of requires landscape & boundary treatments to be submitted prior to commencement of above ground works for the double garage/workshop building, please include tree planting in the landscape scheme to maintain treed amenity and landscape character within the Brockley conservation area. Informative D: The rear garden used to have other trees ? see 6-wk notice to fell 6x trees with offer of voluntary replacement tree planting. Replacement tree species suggested in decision notice informative: crab apple, pear, hawthorn, wild service tree, wild cherry, mulberry, medlar, magnolia, multi-stemmed Tibetan cherry and Paperbark maple, Amelanchier, cherry plum, hazel, Cornus Kousa, bird cherry, wayfaring tree, goat willow, quince (Cydonia oblonga,) Prunus autumnalis, Heptacodium miconioides (Seven-son tree), Laburnum, Strawberry tree, Harlequin Glorybower (Clerodendrum trictotomum).
