G1 - Yew Reduce the overall crown by approximately 1-1.5 m, carrying out a balanced reduction throughout the canopy to maintain the tree's natural form and ensure suitable growth points are retained. Laurel - Pollard to approximately half of the current height (approx. 3-4 m) to control size and encourage vigorous regenerative growth from the pollard points. Contorted Willow - Pollard to approximately half of the existing height in order to reduce end weight and mitigate the risk of structural limb failure, retaining a framework suitable for future cyclical pollarding.
