PA26/3328 - Works to Trees Under TPO Recommendation under review

Proposal

T1 Dead Yew (Taxus baccata) Fell to ground level as tree is dead.. Retaining main stem as large as possible. T2 Lime spp. (Tilia) Fell to ground level and remove all arisings - tree extensively decayed at base and colonised with Kretzschmaria deusta (brittle cinder) fungus which is a significant wood decaying fungus. T3 Horse Chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) Investigate decay pocket at 2m, measuring extent of decay. Install 4 tonne Cobra bracing to support storm leaving towards road. Reasons - decay pocket at base of stem, tight stem union, and lean over road. Data via plota.co.uk
