26/AP/3052 - Works to a Tree with a TPO Under consideration/assessment

Proposal

T1-Remaining tree within our rear garden, which was previously approved for a 30% crown reduction under our February 2025 TPO application, with works completed in May 2025. Proposal is the complete removal of this tree including the main stem to ground level and subsequent stump removal, reduction in the tree's overall height and crown spread, beyond the previously approved 30% reduction. The tree currently stands at approximately 8 metres, and we would like to reduce its height to a level comparable with other trees along the same boundary, subject to the tree surgeon's assessment of what is appropriate and sustainable. We would also like the council to consider the neighbouring trees along the shared garden boundary, which overhang and impact our property. Our tree surgeon has recommended that these trees be assessed collectively to establish a consistent approach to their management. Data via plota.co.uk
