TPO26/142 - Works to a tree with a TPO Pending Consideration

Proposal

I would l like to request that my oak tree at 5 mtr away from property is overhanging roof and against bedroom windows and side of house. As we are situated in a high wind area as exposed it has recently began to scrape against roof tiles and windows and I am anxious that it will cause damage this winter, so hence looking for the approval to trim branches where they are affecting property , likely 1/ 2mtr Back to make safe please . Site constraints 3

Green belt: Birmingham
Inappropriate development needs very special circumstances.
Green belt policy allows a short list of exceptions, such as limited extensions and replacement buildings. Anything else needs very special circumstances that clearly outweigh the harm. Some green belt land can count as grey belt, where it does not strongly serve the green belt's purposes. The council decides this in its green belt assessment or on each application, so we do not mark it here.

Inside the Inkford built-up area; Natural England's Provisional ALC map (1:250,000, 1970s) had this area as grade 3, but it predates the buildings here and the current map does not class it as farmland.
