26/01038/PWC - Works to trees in Conservation Areas Awaiting decision

Proposal

One mature Silver Birch (Betula pendula): - Selective crown reduction of up to 1.5 metres in height and laterally, concentrating on the outermost canopy and maintaining the tree's natural shape and form. - Selective crown thinning of up to 15-20%, removing appropriate secondary and tertiary growth throughout the canopy to improve light without creating large gaps or altering the overall balance of the crown. - Removal of any dead, diseased, damaged, rubbing or crossing branches. All works to be carried out in accordance with BS3998:2010 Tree Work Recommendations, retaining the natural shape and character of the tree whilst improving light penetration to neighbouring properties and surrounding gardens.
