FRONT: ONE dead Maple stem (TPO T1) (approx.ht.8-9m) FELL or reduce to safe height if possible for wildlife and biodiversity benefits, least disturbance to wildlife during bird nesting season, and soft fell to leave stem on the ground to enable any roosting bats to make their way out. Reason: tree appears to have been dead for some time and is covered by dense ivy, which is also intertwined with the adjacent ash tree (TPO T2). REPLANTING PROPOSAL: either a Tulip tree (Liriodendron tulipifera) or Japanese Pagoda tree (Styphnolobium japonicum). Informative A: the landowner has a duty to plant a replacement tree if a TPO tree is removed, uprooted or destroyed in contravention of the order or because it is dead or presents an immediate risk of serious harm, ref.
