Proposal
Following road traffic collision both bridge parapets were damaged. Proposals are to repair the structure. South-west Repair Take down and reconstruct a length of up to 5m of sandstone parapet, spandrel and the pilaster at the southern end of the western parapet. North-east Repair Take down and reconstruct a length of up to 7m of sandstone parapet northern end of the eastern parapet. Section of stonework lost as result of the collision New stone will be needed to replace this lost section. The repairs are to re-use the existing stone where possible and new sandstone to match the existing type, texture, and colour. Mortar to be NHL3.5 in a colour to match existing. Data via plota.co.uk
