P26/1008 - Tree Preservation Order Registered application

Proposal

Fell: G2 T1 = Hawthorn, G2 T2 = Cherry,G2 T3 = Sycamore, G2 T4 = Chestnut, G2 T5 = Elderberry, T1 = London Plane T4 = Common Lime, T5 =Plum, T7 = Plum, T8 = Plum, T12 = Lawson Cypress, T13 = Goat WillowT14 = Unknown/DeadT15 = Common HawthornT16 = Wintergreen barberry, T17 = Common Lime, T18 = Common Hawthorn We are looking to remove the above trees and grind out the stumps as per the recommendations detailed in the report. Here is a summary from the client for the reasoning of the works, recommended following many detailed surveys. The latest monitoring results and our email report to Insurers Arbtech Tree Report Arbtech Environmental Report Site Investigation Report SMP's NHBC Chapter 4.2 tree assessment based on the existing tree heights. Note for remedial works, full tree heights have to be accounted for. In summary, the RHS block is slowly ratching downwards and rotating away from the LHS block. Cyclic movements currently shows a range of 15 mm vertical movement. The RHS gable wall is approx. 100 mm out of plumb. Insurers wish to remove all trees near to the property to avoid demolition. Previous underpinning by others has not worked. Given the ground conditions in close proximity to a former clay quarry, rebuilding off new foundations or new underpinning works exceed the value of the properties and is not a viable option. Site constraints 5

Public footpath 10 m away
Matters where it crosses or adjoins the site: obstructing a path without a diversion order is an offence, and work cannot start until the order is confirmed.
Compiled from highway authority data, not the legal definitive map. A few authorities have not published, so no path shown is not proof there is none.
Air quality management area: Dudley AQMA
The council has declared the area as failing an air quality objective.
Schemes that add traffic, parking or combustion plant are assessed against the area's action plan and may need an air quality assessment.
