Proposal
T1 - Lime - crown reduce 8m in height. Reduce height by 2m from 8m to 6m. Reduce laterals by 1m from 5m to 4m on all compass points. A semi-mature lime in the front garden, growing close to the property and the neighbouring boundary. The tree has been previously reduced and the works will retain the established reduction points to maintain the existing crown shape and form. The reduction will keep the tree in proportion to its restricted position, reduce end-weight on regrowth from previous cuts, and manage shading and encroachment towards the building. T2 - Ash - crown reduce 8m in height. Reduce height by 2m from 8m to 6m. Reduce laterals by 1m from 5m to 4m on all compass points. A semi-mature ash to the rear of the property, growing in a confined position between the building and the boundary. The tree has been previously reduced and the works will retain the established reduction points to maintain the existing crown shape and form. The reduction will keep the tree in proportion to its surroundings, reduce end-weight on extended regrowth, and maintain clearance from the adjacent structures. T3 - Yew hedge - reduce height 7m in height. Reduce height by 2m from 7m to 5m. No reduction to lateral spread. An established yew hedge on the boundary of the garden. The height reduction will bring the hedge back to a manageable and maintainable height while retaining its full screening function and boundary form. Yew responds well to reduction and the works will not affect the long-term health of the hedge. T4 - Cherry - crown reduce 7m in height. Reduce height by 2m from 7m to 5m. Reduce laterals by 1m from 5m to 4m on all compass points. A young cherry in the front garden adjacent to the highway, overhanging the footpath and the neighbouring property. The reduction will keep the tree in proportion to its position, reduce end-weight on the lower lateral limbs extending over the footway, and maintain the tree at a size appropriate to the small front garden setting.
