Notification of intent to carry out Tree Surgery Works to No. 2 Trees within a Conservation Area. T1 - Ash: bifurcated stem with major split, large weighted limb towards the property. Pollard to approx 6m in height on order to alleviate lean strain and encourage low reactive growth at a manageable height. T2 - Horsechestnut: canopy appeared to be in decline at stage of inspection. Close proximity to road. Deadwood in the canopy. Reduce by up to 10m to ensure a stable canopy and to encourage more vigorous and healthy growth by limiting the water uptake requirement to the upper canopy. Where required we will use pollard cuts as strong growth points may be limited in this area of the canopy structure. Pollard cuts are not expected to exceed 300mm in diameter. Data via plota.co.uk
