Proposal
T1 Sycamore - Reduce the overextended lateral limb on the southern aspect by up to 2.5 metres to reduce end loading and rebalance the upper crown, with finishing cuts not exceeding 125mm in diameter. Additionally, reduce 3 no. overextended limbs within the upper crown on the northern aspect by up to 1.5 metres to reduce end loading and improve overall crown balance, with finishing cuts not exceeding 90mm in diameter. Crown lift over the lawn area to achieve approximately 2.5 metres clearance from ground level through the selective reduction of low, drooping secondary growth, with finishing cuts not exceeding 50mm in diameter. Reason for works - tree is displaying natural signs of crown senescence. The proposed works will selectively rebalance the upper crown, reduce end loading and alleviate loading on associated branch unions. Data via plota.co.uk
