Proposal
T1 - Yew - Reduce from approximately 13 to 11.5m in height and from 11 to 8m in width as the tree is outgrowing the space; T2 - Lime - Remove dead top; T3 - Horse Chestnut - Reduce from approximately 22 to 18m in height and from 18 to 14m in width. Remove the over-extended branch on the east side at 5m above ground level. Raise the crown to 5m above the road and 4m above the drive. Remove dead branches and prune back the broken branch stubs. The tree recently shed a few large branches above the road. The work will reduce the chance of this happening again. Data via plota.co.uk

Checked on 3 November 2026. The pin for this application is the centre of its postcode rather than the building, so distances to nearby designations are measured from the postcode and can be out by the width of the postcode area. Historic England, the Environment Agency, Natural England and council datasets, Open Government Licence. A boundary can run through a site and the council holds the definitive record: confirm with the council before relying on this.
