Proposal

T021 and T022 on attached plan. 2 x Yew both currently clipped into a bell shape. Proposal to clip both into a pyramid shape. Some cutting into old wood may be necessary, in which case renovation of green growth will take 2-3 years, during which time a phased process of cutting will be carried out. The majority of the surface of the clipped trees will retain green growth after the first cut. Reason for work is to restore the historical look of the trees, match the spires of the Minster and the caps and finial on the gateway itself, as well as improving stability. Data via plota.co.uk
