T1 - Oak. Target pruning to reduce 3 longest extended limbs above Tulworth Rd by up to 3m. The tree is exhibiting signs of declining vitality and the work is intended to reduce the risk of potential limb failure onto the highway, by reducing the end loading of the most extended limbs. There is an existing failed limb, which is currently being supported by other branches, but apparently growing reasonably well. We will inspect the failed branch union and would propose to remove this branch if we feel it represents a significant risk to users of the pavement. Please see pictures attached. T2 - Oak. Tree is located in the garden of 17 Malmesbury Close, so permission would be sought from the tree owners. Crown lift to create approx 3-3.5m clearance above gardens on both sides of the boundary, and statutory clearances above the highway and pavement. This work is intended to sympathetically allow a little more light into the gardens without impacting the overall size and spread of this healthy tree.
