Informative A: removal of maple T6 is questioned when no Acer roots were found in root analysis in either TP/BH1 or TP/BH2, soil is not desiccated in either TP/BH and no drains report. Soil plasticity (volume change potential) is low to intermediate. Informative B: As foundations are shallow at 0.6m an engineering solution is encouraged for long term stabilisation of no.42 and tree retention, such as underpinning or flexible, copper impregnated root barrier. Informative C: replacement tree planting is encouraged especially in view of the goodwill financial contribution from environmental services to replace lost trees, wildlife habitat and biodiversity, suggest replacement tree and hedge planting with NHBC low water demand species such as: holly, hazel, elder, fig, Gleditsia, laburnum, magnolia, mulberry, birch.
