T1 & T2 Limes: Reduce by 2m laterally over the garden: Justification:The Lime tree has developed a significant lateral spread towards the garden, resulting in increased shading to the rear amenity space and creating a sense of enclosure. The encroaching branches are also reducing the usable garden area and limiting light penetration to surrounding planting and lawn areas. A lateral reduction of approximately 2 metres is proposed to provide additional light and space whilst retaining the tree's overall form, health and amenity value. The works represent a minor and proportionate intervention which will not adversely affect the long term condition of the tree and will be undertaken in accordance with BS3998:2010 Tree Work Recommendations.
