26/01295/PTPO - Works to trees protected by TPO Pending Consideration

Proposal

The application seeks consent to remove T5 and T6 and reconstruct the affected pedestrian access. Two replacement trees are proposed within the site frontage using an engineered planting design, with their final locations to be determined through detailed design and site investigations. The proposal is presented as a revised scheme that would retain four of the six protected trees while addressing the existing conflict between tree roots and the pedestrian surface. See Chapter 6.27 (Option 26) for the removal of T5 and T6 and engineered replacement planting, and Chapter 7.5, Preferred Replacement Planting Design. The location plan is shown on page 13 of the Arboricultural Report. Data via plota.co.uk
