Tree works around two power substations at Langdon Park. Self-seeded trees to be maintained or removed due to close proximity to a power substation, where access is required SUBSTATION 1 on the Holmesdale Road side of Langdon Park x1 Group of self-seeded young trees along the side of the substation. Fell as close to ground level as possible and treat the stumps with eco plugs to prevent regrowth. SUBSTATION 2 on the Normansfield Avenue side of Langdon Park x1 Willow tree, next to the substation door. Fell as close to ground level as possible and treat the stump with eco plugs to prevent regrowth. x1 Goat Willow tree. Re-pollard, to the previous reduction points. x1 Group of shrubs Fell as close to ground level as possible. x1 Group of young self-seeded mixed species trees, to the rear of the substation.
