26/01310/TPO - Tree Preservation Order Registered

Proposal

T1 - Atlas Cedar - Cedrus atlantica. Request: - Carry out a crown reduction of upto 2.5 meters on the side of number 6 and number 7 (between the two properties) the back section of the tree will not need to be reduced as the tree has significantly less growth to the rear. The crown would only be lifted by 1 meter due to secondary branch pruning (no structural main limbs would be touched). Reduce the overextended limb at the rear of the tree that is becoming overextended by 3 meters in length in order to bring it back inline with the rest of the crown shape. Reason: - This work is being requested so that the overall shape of the tree becomes more balanced and so that the limbs do not encroach too close to the properties. The tree appears to be in a good healthy condition so I think it would handle this spec of work being carried out on it. Data via plota.co.uk
