Proposal
12. Mixed Saplings - Fell to ground level all saplings below 15cm diameter. Reason – These small trees are self set and due to the high number of trees already in the area, they should be removed to reduce competition. 18. 6x Ash - Remove the 3 Ash trees closest to the Elm. 10cm,15cm & 25 cm diameter. Reason – These trees are showing the worst signs of Ash dieback in what is already a congested group. They are being removed for safety reasons and to thin out the group as a whole. 37. Sorbus - Fell to ground level. Reason – The trees demonstrate extensive dieback and limited long term potential. 38. Silver Birch with damaged stem - Fell to ground level Reason – Extensive damage on the main stem which could compromise the tree. 39. Variegated Holly - Crown lift by 1.5 metres. Reason – To improve the space around the shrubbery beneath the tree. Data via plota.co.uk

Checked on 6 October 2026. The pin for this application is the centre of its postcode rather than the building, so distances to nearby designations are measured from the postcode and can be out by the width of the postcode area. Historic England, the Environment Agency, Natural England, the Mining Remediation Authority and council datasets, Open Government Licence. A boundary can run through a site and the council holds the definitive record: confirm with the council before relying on this.
