REAR: ONE: Leyland Cypress tree (T1) HEIGHT 14m. FELL to ground level. REASON: The tree has a sparse, uneven crown indicative of poor vigour and restricted growing conditions. Felling is proposed to allow the garden to be reinstated in accordance with a redesign scheme, which includes the planting of 7-8 native replacement trees selected to provide shelter and food resources for birds and pollinators. The retained trees on site ? including a mature ash, plum, hawthorn and bay ? will continue to provide existing wildlife habitat. REAR: ONE: Leyland Cypress tree (T2) Height 16m. FELL to ground level. Reason: All arisings to be removed from site and disposed of responsibly. A large mature Leyland Cypress in the rear garden with a dense, bulky crown that dominates the plot and significantly reduces light levels and biodiversity value within the garden. Felling is proposed as part of the same garden redesign scheme. Replacement planting of 7-8 native trees, including a specimen tree of 3m+ to the side passage, is proposed.
