26/1402/TPO - Works to Protected Trees (TPO) Pending Consideration

Proposal

Tree T20; This tree has 2 low branches which are growing at a curved angle and my tree surgeon expressed concerns that this could lead to instability of the branches as time goes on. The branches are also very heavy, blocking a street lamp and growing over a path which leads from houses to the garages/ parking area. Take branches back approx 6-10 metres (depending on branch) to allow the street lamp to illuminate the pathway for residents. This is the access path from their houses to their garages and is in frequent use. In addition these are potential 'hazard beams' (and can become unstable) due to the angle of growth. Trees T13-18; Are growing over a major public footpath (the trees are on Wellingtonia Park Management Company land), the path is a walkway used by many members of the public, school children and NHS Staff in particular T14 (tree on the left) Take branches overhanging path back 3-6 metres (depending on branch), to behind the 'lower' fence line T15 (on the left) Take branches overhanging path back 3-6 metres approx (depending on branch), to behind the 'lower' fence line T16 (on the left) Take small tree back approx 3-6 metres (depending on branch), to behind the 'lower' fence line Data via plota.co.uk
