Tree Preservation Order EL:22/02 - T1 English Oak - Crown reduce the height and spread of the tree by up to 1.5 metres to rebalance the crown and maintain a natural, flowing form. Remove epicormic growth from the main stem and scaffold limbs, crown lift to 5 metres above ground level by removing secondary growth only, and remove all deadwood greater than 25mm in diameter throughout the crown. All pruning works shall be carried out in accordance with BS3998:2010 Tree Work Recommendations. All arisings to be removed from site. Reason for Proposed Works: The tree has developed an unbalanced crown form, resulting in uneven weight distribution across the canopy. The proposed works will improve crown balance, reduce mechanical loading on the overextended limbs, provide appropriate ground clearance, remove deadwood and epicormic growth as part of routine arboricultural management, and maintain the tree in a safe, healthy and aesthetically appropriate condition.
