Proposal
I have met with Paul Chaplin, NELC Tree Officer, on 6th June 2025 to discuss T1,T2 and T3 and then today (29th July 2026) with Matthew from M.Croft Tree Services, to discuss and review all works outlined in this proposal, and hereby submit proposal for your attention: T1 Lime (Tilia spp.). Reduce lateral canopy spread over the adopted highway to provide a minimum clearance of 1 metre from the double yellow lines. Prune branches to provide 0.5 metre clearance from the overhead telecommunications cable. Crown lift to approximately 6 metres above ground level by removing selected secondary branches. Remove descending, crossing and duplicated branches. Reduce the canopy spread over the property to approximately the line of the building eaves, as shown on the submitted photographs. Remove epicormic growth from the main stem and basal stem to the principal scaffold branch union. Remove all deadwood exceeding 25 mm diameter. T2 Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) (possibly recorded on TPO register as Norway Maple?) Reduce lateral canopy spread over the adopted highway to provide a minimum clearance of 1 metre from the double yellow lines. Prune branches to provide 0.5 metre clearance from the overhead telecommunications cable. Reduce selected lateral branches by approximately 1 metre, cutting back to suitable secondary growth points. Crown lift to approximately 6 metres above ground level by removing selected secondary branches. Remove descending, crossing and duplicated branches. Remove all ivy from the stem and principal scaffold branches. Remove epicormic growth from the main stem. Remove all dead, dying and fractured branches. T3 ? Horse Chestnut. Reduce canopy spread over the adopted highway to provide 1 metre clearance from the double yellow lines. Provide 0.5 metre clearance from the overhead telecommunications cable. Crown lift to approximately 6 metres over the highway. Raise the canopy over the garage to achieve approximately 2 metres clearance… Data via plota.co.uk
