Description

Notice of intent to carry out works to trees in a Conservation Area: T1 - Sycamore: Fell to ground level. Reason: To increase light levels within the garden, reduce shading to surrounding trees and plants, and prevent nuisance and damage to vehicles parked beneath the tree from debris and bird fouling. T2 & T3 - Cherry Trees: Crown reduce by up to 2 metres and crown raise to 5.5 metres above ground level. Reason: To provide clearance over the adjacent footpath and highway and reduce the risk of damage caused by large vehicles striking the overhanging branches. T4 - Oak: Re-pollard to the existing pollard points, located approximately 3-4 metres above ground level, involving the removal of up to 4 metres of regrowth. Reason: To maintain the tree at its previously managed size and prevent interference with overhead BT lines. T5 - Field Maple: Crown reduce by up to 4 metres and crown lift to 4 metres above ground level. Reason: To reduce encroachment towards the neighbouring driveway and provide additional clearance while maintaining the tree in a suitable proportion for its location. Data via plota.co.uk
