2026/0054TCA - Trees in Conservation Area Approved

Proposal

1. Beech (front boundary) - Remove deadwood throughout the crown. - Crown lift to provide a minimum clearance of 3m above ground level over the driveway and garden areas, and 5.2m above the highway to meet statutory clearance requirements. - All lifting to be achieved by removal of secondary branches only, retaining the overall form of the tree. 2. Laurel and Cherry (over driveway) - Crown lift both trees to 3m above ground level over the driveway. - Reduce the height of the Cherry by up to 2.5m, pruning back to suitable growth points to retain a natural shape and form. 3. Conifers (adjacent to utility lines) - Undertake a light reduction and trim to provide appropriate clearance from overhead lines. - Works should be limited to secondary growth and undertaken with due regard to maintaining the natural form of the trees.
