Proposal

Re pollard the mature false acacia back to previous pollard points at approximately three to four metres above ground level, removing current season regrowth. Hard trim mixed ornamental shrubs and bushes located either side of the footpath to reduce their overall size by approximately half a metre to one metre, forming a tidy and manageable shape. Carry out a minor crown reduction to the weeping birch, beech and smoke bush group by up to half a metre, retaining natural form and encouraging balanced growth. Pollard the mature twisted willow to approximately two and a half metres above ground level to form a retained pollard framework. Trim and shape the ornamental acers by approximately three hundred to five hundred millimetres to achieve a more uniform and balanced appearance while retaining their natural character. Reduce the group of cherry trees to approximately two point one metres in height. Where suitable growth points are not present, pollard to an appropriate height of approximately two to two point two metres to form retained stems suitable for future management. Trim the holly shrub or tree by up to two hundred millimetres to reduce its size and create a more uniform shape. Data via plota.co.uk
