26/02143/CPN - Work to tree(s) in Conservation Area Pending Consideration

Proposal

Fell T1 and T2 Ash trees located in the alleyway to the rear of Wilmer Drive. The trees are in direct contact with the boundary retaining wall of 80 Emm Lane, which has partially collapsed in places adjacent to the trees. This has resulted in an unstable and unsafe condition, creating a risk to users of the adjacent garden and driveway areas. The wall is being affected where it meets the trees, and continued interaction between the roots/trunk and the structure is contributing to ongoing movement and deterioration. The space is used as a driveway and garden access route, including by children, creating a safety concern. Photographs are attached showing the current condition. Data via plota.co.uk
