With regards to fire safety - these will also allow for compliance with the current fire safety regulations - specifically to comply with the relevant section which is 3.16a) of the Government Building Fire Safety B Regulations - to be able to function as emergency escape windows - an issue currently with these 5 windows in question which are extremely and progressively more difficult to open.
