Description

Under planning application, 8/24/0220/FUL, it was granted to extend the parking. The strawberry tree (T002) on the south west corner of the site boundary is closer to the extended parking than expected. The impact of the extended parking would result in half the root of the strawberry tree being being cut. Whilst the tree is a hardy variety, there is too greater risk that the tree will be left unstable and unsafe to the public. Therefore, the application is seek permission to remove the strawberry tree. The tree is to be replaced and will be included in the soft landscaping proposals for the discharge condition application for condition 11 of 8/24/0220/FUL. Prior to the application we consulted Sam Bottomley of the arboricultural and landscape team who was supportive of the application. Data via plota.co.uk
