Tree canopy 2meters from house, the specific limbs id like to cut back are drooping into multiple back yards down to the height of around 5ft, im 6ft and I have to walk through the branches out of my back yard. The canopy being so close to my house also means that the root will be close too which is right next to my drainage channel, which goes along the back of the whole terrace unit. My house has already got some subsidence along the back wall and there is cracking in my external wall - directly opposite the position of the tree. In this first instance I would just like to pollard the tree so it isn't at person level, the limbs - which must be over 20ft themselves - look to be bending under their own weight, hence leaning down to head height.
