Description
Tree Preservation Order EL:89/25 - Mature Oak tree: Further retrenchment works required to mitigate an extensive column of decay that was discovered when Ivy was removed last year when carrying out reduction works. This decay compromises multiple large limbs where they adjoin the main stem. The large column of decay was not visible from the ground and on further inspection it is clear that it compromises most of the large boughs that adjoin the main stem. To prevent large limb failure over the public footpath and bridleway we are seeking to retrench the tree by a further 4 metres taking it down to a final height of approx 12 metres. Current height 16m final height 12m. Lateral reduction works of 3-4m, Current spread 16m final spread 12m approx. Data via plota.co.uk
