There is a large bracket fungus at about 7 metres most likely Hymenoscyphus fraxinus (ash heart rot) T3 Hornbeam fell. There is a large cavity at ground level extending for 1.5 metres up trunk the strength of the trunk is compromised and owner would prefer to remove the tree as the garden is a childrens playground, Recomended replacement trees are one honbeam and one silver birch.
