07/2026/00270/TPO - Tree Preservation Order Works Approved

Proposal

T1 - Oak - Remove deadwood over 30mm dia. Crown reduce lateral branches all round up to 3m to suitable growth points. From report It is concluded that T1 oak surveyed, although currently within acceptable risk levels is located within fall range of the public highway and opposite a school. The tree is a prominent tree that has generally good vitality and provides amenity value to the area. Due to the tree location and proximity to a main road with high vehicle and foot traffic especially during school drop off and pickup time along with a history of recent limb failure, the tree should be crown reduced by the reduction of all lateral branches to a maximum of 3m to suitable growth points, ivy severed at the base and at 1m above ground level and deadwood above 30mm removed. I would also ask for the main unions and lateral branches to be inspected for defects. Data via plota.co.uk
