AT/2026/0100 - Works To Tree Within TPO Approved

Proposal

G1 - Cypress Suggested Works: Dismantle southernmost tree (closest to residential property) in stages to near ground level, reduce height of remaining two trees by 2 metres, Maximum Diameter of Cuts (MDC) 50mm. Trim all round to shape. Rationale: The southernmost tree of the group is clearly in a declining state - there is dieback in the canopy plus separation between the stems on the southern side. Additionally, the tree is growing within 50cms of the residential property. With limited pruning options available, due to the tree's species and form, and the current state of the tree we believe that the tree is not suitable for retention and removal is the only viable option. Reducing the two remaining trees is to reduce loadings on the newly exposed stems following the removal of the adjacent tree in G1. Data via plota.co.uk
