Description
3 Lime trees to the rear of 7 Hearthstone Close, SK8 - Part of a group of 7 Lime trees identified by Number: G19. The client would like to reduce the height of these trees, lift the crown, dead wood and thin. Proposed work as follows - Reduce the smaller Lime Tree (identified on the photo as T1) by 2 metres, lift to 5 metres and thin by 10 percent. T2 - Lift to 5 metres. T3 - Larger of the three lime trees - reduce height by 4 metres, lift to 5 metres, and push back laterals overhanging the boundary back to the boundary. This work will help to reduce excessive leaf litter and reduce excessive shading. The client also had some concerns over them falling in the storms. After inspection the trees look in good health. There is a small fissure on the stem of T3, but there is good adaptive growth around it. The trees are on an embankment next to the river with limited land anchorage, but they do seem stable. there are no signs of root plate lift or movement. All work will be done to BS 3998. TPO 4W.
