“The site is located on the northern side of Lavender Hill within the Clapham Junction Town Centre and the Clapham Junction Conservation Area. The surrounding context is characterised by similar properties with active retail frontages at street level. Of particular note, the Grade II listed Arding and Hobbs building is situated directly opposite the site, contributing significantly to the architectural and historic character of the locality.”
