Car park and one-way system at Endon High School, Leek Road, Endon
Summary of planning committee decision
Decided by Staffordshire Moorlands Planning Applications Committee on 11 Dec 2025.
What was proposed
The application proposed an extended car park, a one-way system, relocated pedestrian access, guardrails, gates and fencing.
“Planning permission is sought to extend the car park, introduce a one way system (with access from the southern entrance and egress via the northern gate) and install apedestrian guard railing on the highway. The rearrangement will allow additional space for social development to the north of the site, improve parents safe drop offs and collections and, reduce congestion on Leek Road.”
“Removal of the mobile classroom to the south of the site to provide additional parking space that will be lost to the north of the site. • Reduce the maintained grassland behind the palisade fencing along Leek Road for 61 parking spaces. • Replace the 7 parking spaces to the south west of the site for 4 accessible parking spaces. • The entrance will remain unchanged to the south of the site.”
