Summary of planning committee decision

Decided by Salford Planning and Transportation Regulatory Panel on 16 Oct 2025.

PA/2025/0617Approved

What was proposed

A single-storey classroom block would provide four classrooms, teaching space, parking, emergency access, landscaping and an electrical kiosk.

“The development proposal concerns the provision of new classroom block with associated parking, emergency access, landscaping, and a GRP electrical kiosk. The proposed single storey classroom block would provide approx. 579m 2 of gross internal floorspace, constructed from modular units. It will be located on the southern parcel of land and will provide four additional classrooms as well as a multi-functional teaching space with outdoor breakout areas.”

“The new facility will facilitate the accommodation of the additional pupils and 25 new staff members. In order to accommodate the extra staff, 22 additional car parking spaces (resulting in a total of 104 spaces across the site as a whole) and two motorcycle spaces will be provided as part of the development.”
