Earlier applications

Officer report

What officers recommended

Officers recommended approval because the proposal would add housing, provide suitable homes, respect the conservation area and avoid unacceptable effects on neighbours and transport.

“3) Design and Heritage: The development is judged to be acceptable in visual terms, and would not harm the character and appearance of the conservation area, or the settings of nearby heritage assets. The proposal therefore accords with the NPPF (2024), London Plan (2021) Policies D3 and HC1, Local Plan (2018) Policies DC1, DC2 and DC8, and Section 72 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.”

“5) Impact on Neighbouring Residents: The development would respect the principles of good neighbourliness. There would be no significant worsening of outlook, overlooking, and noise/disturbance, and no unacceptable loss of sunlight or daylight to cause undue detriment to the amenities of neighbours. A Construction Management Plan will be secured by a condition to address disturbance during the building works.”
