Residents’ views
Neighbours raised concerns about the right of way, access, maintenance and flooding, while one neighbouring resident supported the brownfield redevelopment.
“Neighbours Objections (multiple) were received from two neighbouring properties expressing the following concerns; The original plans compromised the right of way to the dwellings adjacent to the site on Lincoln Road meaning that residents would need to reverse in or out of the right of way. Amended plans were submitted to show the right of way remaining unobstructed, and access to a private road within the development for turning and access.”
“The agent has confirmed that the title of the properties adjacent to the RoW (for the existing dwellings on Lincoln Road), will state there will be provision for the turning of the cars for the neighbouring properties and no, Plot 1 won’t be permitted to park and block the turning of vehicles. One comment has been received in support of the application from a neighbouring resident noting that the proposal would be an ideal infill development for this brownfield site.”
