10 homes with landscaping at Land At Tanglewood, Kirdford Road, Wisborough Green

Summary of planning committee decision

Decided by Chichester Planning Committee on 8 Oct 2025.

24/02069/FULApproved

What was proposed

The application sought ten market homes, with landscaping, parking, access, an ecological buffer and an off-site footway.

“At the northern end of the application site, the existing pond area is proposed to be upgraded to provide an area of landscaping, public open space and Biodiversity Net Gain. In addition, the access road through the site will be extended to the south of the open space and pond to provide access for the field to the north, which is outside of the application site.”

“In terms of off-site highways works a new footway is proposed from the site access, immediately adjacent to the southern boundary of the application site, and continuing along the side of Kirdford Road, tracking south-west towards the centre of Wisborough Green (with two options for the footway which are discussed below in the Highways section of this report).”
