“Site and Surrounding Area 1.1. The application relates to the northern area of the former Hargher Clough Mill site with the western half of the site occupied by a former mill building (to be retained) and location of the existing access whilst the eastern area is an area which has been cleared. The central and southern area of the wider mill site has been developed with industrial units which are complete and, in some cases, occupied.”
“Proposal 2.1. This application is being presented to committee as more than 3 objections have been received. The submission proposes to construct an industrial building containing 6no. units. The building would be a maximum of 36m wide by 15.2m deep with a mono pitched roof with a maximum height and eaves height of 6m and 4.5m respectively. The proposal includes 13no. additional car parking spaces to the west and east side of the building.”
