The replacement course was considered acceptable for community use, Green Belt purposes, design, neighbouring amenity, parking and highway safety.
“A number of exceptions to inappropriate development are set out in national guidance and local policies, and these include the provision of appropriate facilities for outdoor sports and outdoor recreation, which can be considered as appropriate development providing the development does not conflict with the five purposes of including land within the Green Belt and it preserves the openness of the Green Belt.”
