“The application site is the existing Bruche Primary School located at Seymour Drive, Poulton-with-Fearnhead. The site consists of two blocks of existing single- storey school buildings, with a car park at the site frontage to the west. The buildings to the north of the site are currently in use as a primary school with early years provision.”
“The site is located in Suburban Warrington as defined by Policy DC1 (Warrington’s Places) of the Local Plan. It is also within the Mineral Safeguarding Area (MSA) for sand and gravel as set out by Policy ENV3 (Safeguarding of Minerals Resources). The playing fields around the edges of the site are identified as Open Space by Policy DC5 (Open Space, Sport and Recreation Provision).”
